SUSSEX COUNTY STATE BANK CELEBRATES THANKSGIVING WITHOUT A GLITCH DUE TO OLMEC SYSTEMS, INC.

MORRISTOWN, NJ, December 3, 1999 — 'Twas the night before... Thanksgiving?' Not exactly as the poem goes, but you get the point. It was 5:30pm on a Wednesday night and businesses had generally closed for the upcoming four-day holiday weekend. This was not the case for Sussex County State Bank (traded on the AMEX as SBB), who closes for the day at 6:00pm, initiates overnight-automated server processing and reopens Friday morning for high volume holiday transactions. But, as Murphy's Law dictates, at 5:30pm Thanksgiving Eve one of the servers had an internal power malfunction resulting in damage to the server.

"We expected our service request to Olmec to be taken care of first thing Monday, after the holiday weekend, not any sooner than that, definitely not that night," stated Vice President, Elizabeth Martin. But in fact, Olmec dispatched a senior level technician within an hour, with all the replacement parts required. "This wouldn't completely surprise me if we had paid for an expensive emergency service contract, but we don't have one. We've never pre-paid for any service from Olmec," explained Martin.

"Beating the customers expectations, that's how we define good customer service," purported Chris Forte, President of Olmec Systems. Olmec Systems, located in Denville, NJ, prides itself on a strong suite of services specifically designed for small and medium sized businesses. Olmec provides computer products and integration services for businesses throughout Northern NJ and Manhattan, specializing in the integration of Microsoft systems for financial institutions such as banks and brokerage houses.

Olmec's unique 24-hour by 7-day-a-week emergency support, without the requirement of a service contract or retainer was one of the reasons why Sussex County State Bank initially decide to use Olmec as a vendor. Olmec has been supporting SBB for over two years now, and "our decision continues to pay for itself, just like it did Thanksgiving eve," stated Martin.
