Olmec Systems Selected For MIT Entrepreneurial "Giants" Program

BOSTON, MA, March 17, 2002 — Olmec Systems, headquartered in Denville, NJ, was selected to take part in the "The Birthing of Giants" program. The program will be held on the campus of MIT and jointly hosted by the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. magazine and the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO). The program is designed to bring together the next generation of entrepreneurial giants for a time of intense blending of practice and theory with a major focus on leadership. Spanning 12 days over a period of three years, the program covers the six fundamental areas of business: management, finance, human resources, marketing and sales, operations and research and development.

Sixty entrepreneurs, all under the age of 40 and founders of companies that gross more than $2 million annually, will be participating. Olmec Systems, will be represented at the MIT program by president Mike Michalowicz. Michael Dell, founder and president of Dell Computers, is one of the more famous graduates from the MIT program.
