NEW TITLE REFLECTS INTEGRATOR’S WIDENING SCOPE

DENVILLE, NJ, June 1, 2003 – Olmec Systems, Inc. today announced a change in the marketing of its name to reflect the total scope of services now provided by the company and its strategic partners. With the recent addition of wireless e-mail, telephony and document management solutions, Olmec will now position itself as a “Technology Integrator”, moving away from the “Computer Network Integrator” moniker that underlined the company’s name for 7 years.

“Our goal is to provide the small business owner with one source for procuring technology, but more importantly, one source to manage that technology. Advances in technological product development have blurred the lines between voice, data, security, and information making it increasingly difficult for the small business owner to make cohesive decisions about technology needs and spending. When we started filling out our services and products, our thought was to be a ‘one vendor’ source for the technology tools needed by a small business. Once we succeeded in turning that thought into a real offering, we though it best to underline our name with a more comprehensive title” stated Olmec owner Chris Forte.

For the services not provided by Olmec personnel, such as data/voice cabling or power conditioning and generation, Olmec has sought out the “best-of-breed” vendors in the area. “There is a lot of great technical talent out there, and plenty of vendors that know their product. We start looking at vendors that have those qualities, and then narrow our choices down to vendors that understand the importance of a good client-vendor relationship” states Forte. “Our goal is to find vendors that share certain standards with us, standards that our clients have come to expect. If they know their stuff, and can take care of our clients, then we know we have a winner” Forte added.
